LEARN MORE ABOUT ME
Hello, dear ones! My name is Rachael.
I’ve always been passionate about helping people. I started my career in nursing where I worked in a progressive care unit, helping heart surgery patients heal and recover. I was all in, always giving my patients the best care possible. However, I knew there was a more fulfilling career path, one where I could spend quality time helping those around me achieve their life, health, and wellness goals so I kept exploring and growing.
I found my true calling in transformative coaching. I completed an amazing coaching program and founded Ataraxis Wellness. (Ataraxis is pronounced at·a·rax·is, and is the absence of mental stress or anxiety, freedom from emotional disturbance; a state of tranquility, peacefulness, serenity, heartsease, or quietness.)
My focus is to help people live as fully and abundantly as possible. My training has taught me that each of us has everything we need within ourselves to create lasting change and we are naturally creative, resourceful and whole beings. My role as a coach is to support, ask powerful questions, and help you to tap into these inner resources to create the life you really want.
I utilize my training in The Daring Way™ to facilitate individual or group workshops. The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The method was designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders.
While I am eager to help anyone that wants to make change in their life, I also specialize in helping women who have experienced relationship betrayal trauma. I had the privilege of attending the APSATS (The Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists) Multidimensional Trauma Model training. The training provided essential resources and tools that allow me to better help partners navigate their personal recovery journey.
When I’m not coaching, I can be found hiking, gardening, practicing mindfulness, snuggling with my cats, or enjoying quality time with my husband.
